Senado Square
Located in the central area of Macao Peninsula, Senado Square has been Macao people's most popular venue for public events. The cobblestone square was a meeting place for the Chinese and Portuguese in the 16th to 18th centuries.
Flora Garden
The European-style public park was formerly a Portuguese mansion. Flora Garden has a stone pathway that leads upward to the top of Guia Hill, the highest scenic point in Macao.
A-Ma Temple
The oldest temple in Macao was already around before the Portuguese colonisation. A-Ma Temple commemorates the sea-goddess Mazu who is believed as the protector of Macao fishermen.
Macao Science Center
Established in 2009, MSC aims to promote science and education among locals and visitors. With a gross floor area of 20,000 square metres, Macao Science Center consists of the Exhibition Center, the Planetarium and the Convention Center.
Mong-Há Fort
The demilitarised fort in Mong Ha Hill offers a calming scenery as well as a story of two cultures that coexist harmoniously.
Rua do Cunha
A narrow pedestrian street in Taipa Village famous for the line of shops selling almond cakes, phoenix egg rolls, coconut flakes and peanut candy. You can also find various authentic Portuguese restaurants there.
Chapel of St. Francis Xavier
Built in 1928, the baroque-style chapel is located in the quaint Coloane Village. The beautiful building with cream-and-white facade with oval windows and bell tower is something you must not miss taking pictures of.
The Ruins of St Paul's
The "Acropolis" of Macao and the most iconic facade in town. The original building was the biggest Catholic Church in East Asia. Typhoon in 1835 caused a fire in the church, now leaving only the facade and grand stone stairs.
